[Mesa-users] Workshop Announcement: Stars on the Run III, Beijing, Nov. 2–6, 2026

Dear MESA users,

We'd like to announce the workshop Stars on the Run III, to be held at the
UCAS Yanqi Campus in Beijing, China, on November 2-6, 2026.

The meeting will focus on runaway, walkaway, and hypervelocity stars. Many
of these systems are linked to massive star evolution: supernova kicks, the
disruption of binaries.

The workshop will bring together observers and theorists to discuss recent
progress enabled by Gaia DR3 and large spectroscopic surveys, including
LAMOST, DESI, SDSS-V, WEAVE, and 4MOST, and to prepare for new
opportunities with Gaia DR4.
