Dear MESA Users,
I hope this message finds you well.
On behalf of the Topic Editorial Team, I would like to invite you to
contribute to our newly launched Frontiers Research Topic:
*Probing Stellar Interiors with Asteroseismology: Advances from Space-based
Observations*
This Research Topic aims to bring together observational, theoretical, and
computational studies that advance our understanding of stellar interiors
through asteroseismology. We particularly welcome contributions related to
solar-like oscillations, mixed modes, stellar structure and evolution,
angular momentum transport, magnetic fields, and studies combining
asteroseismic analyses with stellar evolution modelling using MESA and
related computational tools.
We also encourage studies based on observations from *Kepler*, *TESS*, and
future missions such as *PLATO*, as well as investigations combining
asteroseismic, spectroscopic, and astrometric constraints. Original
Research articles, Reviews, Mini Reviews, Perspectives, Methods, and Brief
Research Reports that fall within the scope of the Research Topic are all
welcome.
Researchers interested in contributing can find further information and
register their interest using the following link:
https://research-topic-landing-pages.frontiersin.org/participate-in-research-topic/80119/ec
We would be delighted to receive contributions from the MESA community.
Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues who may be
interested.
Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions regarding the
Research Topic, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
*On behalf of the Topic Editorial Team*
Dr. Zeynep Celik Orhan
