[Mesa-users] MESA release r26.4.1

Hi all,

We are pleased to announce a new public release of MESA, *r26.4.1*,
which can be downloaded from Zenodo
<https://zenodo.org/records/19722306>. This release mostly consists of
improvements and bug fixes for the new colors module, providing more TDC
options, and one major bug fix in the reaction rates module. In particular:

- The colors module could select atmosphere metallicity from Zbase
instead of photospheric [M/H]. This could return solar-metallicity
colors and SEDs for non-solar models.
- A bug in the reverse reaction rates module, introduced in r24.08.1,
used an incorrect mass exponent factor in some reverse detailed-balance
rates. This is most relevant at higher temperatures in excess of 2 GK
during advanced burning stages, when reverse detailed-balance rates
become important.
- Various new controls for TDC have been made available to bring it
closer into alignment with the RSP module. An overview of the TDC and

We highly recommend that anyone that is affected by these bugs to
upgrade to this new release. As usual, more details and the full list of
