[Mesa-users] Mu from equation of state Opal/scvh

Dear all,

I'm studying cold Jupiters using make_planet in 24.08.1, but it turns out
that the mean molecular weight in the upper layer of interior is about 1.8,
in contrast to ~2.3 for a molecular hydrogen dominated gas.
My problem lies in low T, so MESA probably uses OPAL/SCVH EOS.
I wonder what factor correlates/controls the mu output of mesa?
