[Mesa-users] MESA installation on Windows 11 WSL2:Unbuntu at adipls build stage

Hi.

I saw an unresolved report by Zhhoor Elahi on 22 February about a MESA
installation failing at the adipls stage. I'm seeing the same problem on my
Windows 11 machine ("FitzSimmons") running Ubuntu through WSL 2.

I'm attaching the build.log file here, and quote below the result of
various command-line queries as advised on the MESA "post a question" page.
Any insight welcome! I haven't been using the WSL setup for long, so I
assume I've missed something.
