[Mesa-users] In Memoriam: Bill Paxton

It’s hard to put my feelings into words...

Bill passed away on the third day of this year’s MESA School in Leuven. I
still remember sitting in the classroom, chatting with others about how
this code changed my life. The truth is, I didn’t get my PhD or my postdoc
positions because I’m particularly brilliant. Instead, I got here because I
had some knowledge of MESA. Without Bill’s work, I honestly don’t think I
would have realized my dream of becoming an astronomer.

Thank you, Bill, for opening the door for so many of us.
