[Mesa-users] other cgrav and energy_eqn_option

Hi all,

If one uses a modified gravity prescription, is the option energy_eqn_option
= 'dedt' still valid? I understand that energy_eqn_option = 'eps_grav'
should remain valid, but I’m curious about 'dedt'.

I’m asking because for energy conservation with 'dedt' to be valid, one
would need to ensure that energy is conserved in a different gravitational
potential field, and I’m not sure whether MESA accounts for that.

MESA version 23 or 24.
