Hi Amar,
It's puzzling, indeed. Looks like the install is now working, but it is
not passing the machine-precision checks we added differences to ensure
reproducibility) in the "num" module, which is supposed to be using lapack
and blas from the sdk.
Do you get the same issue if you install the development version
<https://github.com/MESAHub/mesa> of mesa? `git clone
git at github.com:MESAHub/mesa.git`
and point MESA_DIR to where you downloaded it in your zshrc file. This is
just for diagnosing the issue, I don't recommend using the dev version for
science.
If things remain tricky, I could schedule a quick call on Thurs/Fri to
troubleshoot the issue
