[Mesa-users] Non-adiabatic GYRE and input format?

In principle there is indeed enough information in OSC files for GYRE to do non-adiabatic calculations. However, this functionality never been tested, and there could be undiagnosed bugs that need fixing.

I’ll have a look into this on your behalf.

For non-adiabatic calculations, GYRE also supports MESA-format input files (which MESA calls ‘GYRE’-format — it’s as if each code is trying to blame the other!), and GSM-format input files. GSM format is similar to MESA format, but packaged in an HDF5 container — as a result, it takes up significantly less disk space.
