[Mesa-users] note on fixing Mesa install after recent macOS updates

Some people are having trouble installing Mesa on macOS M2 / M3 chips after
recent OS updates that may have messed up some environment variables, and
seeing the error:

ld: library 'z' not found

To fix this, add to your .zshrc file the following.

export SDKROOT=$(xcrun --sdk macosx --show-sdk-path)

Hopefully with future mac updates this fix will no be needed any more
