[Mesa-users] Core Collapse Model for SN1B Test Suit Inquiry

Good afternoon,

I am currently testing the 20M_pre_ms_to_core_collapse test suite on MESA and I am unfortunately not getting the star system to explode when running the test. I am trying to simulate and study an example of a massive star that evolves and explodes like a supernova type 1B does. Given the unstable nature of this test with an exploding star, is there a way to be able to fix/adjust this test suite to better the conditions for the MESA model to run successfully and if so, how could that be done?

Please let me know of any recommendations on how this could be fixed given the situation.
