Agreed with Eb, with the slight correction that the code is in
$MESA_DIR/star/test_suite not $MESA_DIR/star/private/...

Specifically check out the function *gamma1_integral* which is called by
*data_for_extra_history_columns* in
$MESA_DIR/star/test_suite/pisn/src/run_star_extras.f90
