[Mesa-users] Implement stellar activity

Hi Gabriela,

Mesa does not solve MHD equations and cannot compute the magnetic fields
in a direct way. However, some of the effects that magnetic fields have
on stellar evolution can be modelled in mesa in a "ad hoc" way:

  * Mixing and angular momentum transport due to magnetic fields: see
    the Spruit-Tayler dynamo in the rotation controls
    <https://docs.mesastar.org/en/release-r23.05.1/reference/controls.html?highlight=spruit#rotation-controls>
    and section 6.2 of Paxton et al. 2013
    <https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2013ApJS..208....4P>
  * Magnetic braking
    <https://docs.mesastar.org/en/release-r23.05.1/test_suite/magnetic_braking.html>
    (see also do_jdot_mb and the following parameters in binary_control,
    if you are modelling binaries)

I hope this helps

Ruggero
