[Mesa-users] Important advisory for core helium burning (and beyond) modellers

Hi All,

We have generated an updated release candidate (r23.05.1-rc2) that includes the bug fix for the reverse triple-alpha rate. As Rob noted, the previous release candidate -rc1 announced a few weeks ago still contained the rate bug. We expect to announce the finalized MESA release r23.05.1 around the end of the month. In the mean time, if you are running models through He core burning and beyond in r22.05.1 or r22.11.1, we strongly recommend upgrading to the -rc2 release candidate linked above in anticipation of the forthcoming release.
