[Mesa-users] Need help in using MESA to model variable stars

Hello everyone
Hope you all are doing good.

I’m a graduate student.
I’ve been given a task to model a class of variable stars, but I don’t know where to start. Also, I don’t know how to use MESA.
I’ve gone through the opal opacity tables, Fortran subroutines, etc. but I don’t know how to use those things to model a star.
Can anybody please help me in this regard?
I’ve a little knowledge of using/programming in EXCEL VBA. Can anybody please tell me the best way of learning Fortran?
Any help in this regarded will be highly appreciated.
