[Mesa-users] Evolving star in user-specified medium

Hi everyone,


Thank you so much again for answering our questions!  We were wondering if it is possible evolve a star (such as with make_zams) in a user-specified medium.  In looking at the atmosphere controls, choices can be made at the boundary conditions.  We would like to evolve the system with a domain that extends past the surface of the star by several radii to include a user-specified medium which could be consistent with the current atmosphere BCs.  Is this possible?  Is there a test we could look at to create an artificial "envelope" or medium around the star?
