Hi Wenyu,
I suggest you go to your $MESA_DIR/star/private folder and grep e.g.
'Brunt_B', 'Brunt_N2', 'calculate_Brunt_B' and 'calculate_Brunt_N2'.
You should be able to figure out what those quantities are and how the
code handles their calculation. This modus operandi applies to many
similar questions about MESA inner workings.
