Dear mesa user,
OS : Ubuntu 20.04
MESA : r22.05.1
I am trying to study the effects of rotation on the final fate of a 25
solar mass ZAMS star. I am using the 20M_pre_ms_to_core_collapse test suit
directory. Further, to implement different rotations, I am setting
new_omega_div_omega_crit to desired values (i.e., 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and
0.8 ) in inlist_mass_Z_wind_rotation. I could successfully evolve the
models up to the stage of core collapse. Later, to see the implemented
rotation speeds, I plotted the "surf_avg_omega_div_omega_crit" against the
"star_age" for the evolution period between near ZAMS up to the exhaustion
of core he burn (plot attached). Surprisingly, I found out that for
"new_omega_div_omega_crit = 0.6 and 0.8", the
"surf_avg_omega_div_omega_crit" went beyond 1 for a shorter period during
last stages.

I just wanted to know if such over shootings of
surf_avg_omega_div_omega_crit beyond 1 are fine or not plus what could be
the possible reason? Please enlighten me.
With best regards,
Amar Aryan
