if one is interested in the s-process in a c13 pocket during the thermal pulse phase of evolution,
one is better off extracting mesa's temperature, density, and composition profiles from the
c13_pocket test suite case (using a smaller reaction network), and then feeding those profiles
to a standalone, suitably neutron-rich, reaction network.an example of this approach is in
