The error is telling you that the MESA solver is running into difficulties
and some part of the code is returning an error.
You may get more information by setting report_ierr = .true.
However, retries are a normal part of a MESA run, so as long as your model
is still evolving on a reasonable time step for your problem then they
don't necessarily need to be fixed. Only if they stop your model from
progressing forward do they need attention.
