[Mesa-users] Ending Simplex Run

Hi MESA Users,
I have an issue that I feel should be somewhat easy to solve, but I just haven’t been able to figure out how to do it. I run simplex models trying to match stellar oscillations and parameters, but I struggle with ending the simplex run after a reasonable chi2 is reached. Instead my runs often just terminate after they timeout on the cluster they are running on (3 day limit) even when the chi2 value is pretty much the same between the last 100 models. Is there a way to terminate the simplex run if the difference between several subsequent chi2 values is less than some value?
I’m using MESA version r12115 with the matching SDK. I’ve attached an image that shows what I mean about the chi2 values looking relatively the same for the last ~75 models in the simplex run and an example inlist_astero_search_controls.
Thanks for your help!
Erica
