[Mesa-users] make_o_ne_wd causing computer to freeze

Dear MESA users,

A few weeks ago I installed version r22.05.01  and conducted the classic
15M test with no apparent problems. But I've now encountered  trouble while
trying to run a copy of the make_o_ne_wd test suite.  I've tried running it
3 times and in every single one of them when the model reaches the
inlist_c_burning  my computer fully freezes (to the point it has to be
unplugged to be shut down).

I've gone through the mailing archive and found a similar situation, but
the problem there was lack of RAM which does not apply to my case.  I'm on
Ubuntu 18, and the computer has 125 GB of RAM and 32 threads, so it's not a
lack of computational power...

Anyway, any suggestions on what might be causing this and how to fix it
would be greatly appreciated!
