[Mesa-users] Problems when running MESA program

Hi,
It's complicated (and I think beyond me: I seldom use `pgstar` myself) to figure out exactly why `pgstar` causes the run to pause indefinitely, and I doubt it's a bug in `pgstar`. It probably depends on exactly what sort of terminal you're trying to run on, whether things like X forwarding are on and working, etc. My best guess is that `pgstar` tries to start its server but for some reason this process never returns, so MESA sits waiting for a response that never comes.
If you want or need `pgstar`, it would help to describe what operating system you're using, if you connect to the computer running MESA (and, if so, how? e.g. via SSH?) and whether or not you see any `pgstar` windows appear (including the small "pgstar server").
Cheers,
Warrick
