Hi Aaron,Rob, Mitchell
I am also interested in heavy iostopes abundance which are not included in small network in star evolution. So I did some test and got some results.
1.If the isotopes are not included in network, and I set to disply these isotopes' abundence in profile file.In profile files, all isotopes which are not included in network disply 0 mass fraction.
2.If the isotopes are included in network, but there are no reaction involving these isotopes. Then the isotopes' mass fraction disply in profile files. For different metallicity Z, the ratio among isotopes are the same.
3.The setting are same as 2,and I add the flag 'dump_missing_metals_into_heaviest = .true.' in inlist file. The result is same as 2,there are no other isotopes disply in profile files.
So I have some questions as follow:
1.In different metallicity Z,is the ratio among all isotopes fixed?what is the ratio? Which paper do this ratio refer?
2.Why didn't the flag 'dump_missing_metals_into_heaviest = .true.' work?
Any suggestions or help would be very appreciated!
sincerely!
Liguo
