Hi Kai-an,

The users-list did receive the 13Msun model and inlist. I don't have an
immediate answer for that one, and it is looking like it's a nontrivial
issue so I (and/or others on this list) may want to be able to sit down and
give it some more thought. In the meanwhile, you could try changing the
winds via setting dutch_scaling_factor  = something in the range of 0.1 to
1, changing the strength of overshooting, and looking at the different
stellar structure. Depending on your science application, a very valid
thing to do with Red Supergiants can be to simply ignore the models that do
not converge.

As for the 40Msun error message you describe, I'll remind you as always
that listing error messages is almost never enough information for the
users mailing list; inlists, run_star_extras.f, mod files will make it a
lot easier for us to help you. It also may be worth sending a separate
email to start a separate thread, since it's a different issue than the
problem of explosion failure. However, here is something that may help:
Bill Wolf has an excellent tutorial for debugging MESA hydro problems which
should be of general interest, and can lend insight into your specific
