[Mesa-users] Color from input BC tables

Hi Rob,
Thanks for trying that. I was concerned that there was an issue with using multiple BC files, as an old entry on the mailing list archives said that there was a bug involved. But, it looks like that has been resolved!
I managed to get my own working this morning. I can't say for sure what went wrong, but I think it may have been using an older version of my BC files where there was a space between the '#' and "Teff" in the header.
Thanks!
Macy

Hi
It's hard to say what's happening, I just ran 12778 with a file with the same header as you showed and things worked fine.

Can you send your inlists, 2mass_bc.dat, and history_coloumns file?

Rob

Hi,
I'm attempting to use mesa-r12778 with bolometric correction output, using both the built in BC table and my own. Example inlist lines:
color_num_files = 2
color_file_names(1) = 'lcb98cor.dat'
color_num_colors(1) = 11
color_file_names(2) = '2mass_bc.dat'
color_num_colors(2) = 3

I believe I have formatted my BC table in the same way as the built-in one, here's an example first 2 lines:
#Teff logg M_div_H 2MASS_J 2MASS_H 2MASS_Ks
2500.00000 -4.00000 -4.00000 1.84578 2.92706 3.43630

But in my output, the history columns are: bc_U, ... bc_M, bc_M_div_H, bc_2MASS_J, bc_2MASS_H, ...

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and knows why bc_M_div_H is showing up and bc_2MASS_Ks is not? It seems like my columns are mislabeled, but I cannot find that to be the case.

Thanks!
-Macy
