[Mesa-users] different 'MLT_option'

hi etienne and jared,

the mlt options Ml1, ML2, Mihalas, and Henyey came from mike montgomery 
around version 4244 circa oct 2012. he wanted more options than the 
Cox option that was available at the time, and he took on the task of 
modifying the mesa source code to provide them. this development 
is discussed on page 16 of mesa II, on which mike is a co-author.

i know the documentation says

> ‘Cox’ option assumes optically thick material. 
> The other options are various ways of extending to include optically thin material.

the second line dates from ~oct 2012 and may have even been true at one point in time.
trusting your respective analytical skill sets, you've shown that Cox = ML1, 
so maybe the documentation should be updated.
