[Mesa-users] Problem with luminosity of c burning

Hi all,
i searched in the mailing list, but didnt find anything about this issue.

I'm trying to model SAGB stars by adopting the 7M_prems_to_AGB test suite,
using mesa-r12778.
I changed the reaction net to sagb_NeNa_MgAl.net, and the stellar mass (in
both inlist files, input attached).
The model does reach the conditions to burn C in their interior, producing
ONe cores, but
the problem arises when looking at the luminosity L_C.
When plotting log10(power_c_burn), it remains always around 4 by the time
of C-burning.
(I understand that this variable account also for other reactions than
c12+c12). Writing the energy released by c12_c12, is always 0 (both in the
profile and the history, but C is burning!).

The problem is that, by reading other works, the C ignition should be a
flash with luminosities up to 6 (at least for masses ~9-10Msun)

In the files I attach part of the track (in color map the inner c
abundance), and the inlist. This is for a 11Msun. At first I thought this
model was not degenerate enough to have a flash, but the same happens when
adopting lower stellar masses (9.8, 10 Msun).

Any help is welcome.

Best wishes,
Francisco
