[Mesa-users] Keep the same number of zones during evolution

i suggest that forcing a low number of fixed cells would usually give misleading or incorrect results.

perhaps the essence of what you're getting at is

best practice is to run the job with several different mass and time resolutions
to see how the location(s) of the he-flash(es) change. what one seeks to show with 
these multiple runs is that the location(s) do not depend greatly on the mass or time resolution. 
that is, one wants to show one's results are converged with respect to the choice of mass and time resolution.

alternatively, since you hint at making 2d plots, such as kippenhahn diagrams,
there is indeed some extra work to be done on the plotting side of the house.
here, one wants to bend the plotting to the science, not bend the science to appease the plotting.
