Hi Aldo,
Yes that’s it! Thank you so much.
Silly me just combined the complete tables from MIST without filtering for the Av value. I guess MESA then uses the last occurrence of a teff logg fe/h set to interpolate which is as you mentioned the one for Av = 6.
I just ran another model with the new MESA_corrs and it absolutely was that!.
Thank you again,
Thomas

These probably correspond to the different possible reddening values tabulated in the MIST BCs. As an example, here's an extract from your file for the Gaia magnitudes:

Could it be your interpolation is using BCs corresponding to high Av values, therefore much reddened and dimmer as your CMD suggests? If this is the case, then make sure you are using the tables for the correct Av value.

To do so, I have downloaded the bolometric correction tables for UBV(RI)c + 2MASS + Kepler + Hipparcos + Tycho + Gaia from the MIST model grids and combined them to a MESA_corrs.txt file. However, the output looks significantly different from the MIST stellar evolution track that I can download for the same mass and filter bands. I have checked that the evolutionary track looks quite similar in the Hertzsprung-Russel diagram so I assume I did make some silly mistake either creating the MESA_corrs file or when reading it into MESA.
