[Mesa-users] He core burning start during mass transfer

Dear all,

I am running massive binary models and I have a question about He core 
burning that starts during mass transfer.
In my model of 30 + 27 Ms, there are a few points where He luminosity 
rises in the primary star and this correspond to shrinking of the star 
and decrease of the mass transfer rate. I am attaching a plot showing 
this, all is shown as a function of the primary mass.

My question is if this is maybe just some numerical effect or can it be 
explained as I mention above?
