I would like to bring to the attention of the MESA community this 3 years
postdoctoral fellowship opportunity at the Center for Computational
Astrophysics (CCA) in NYC. The *deadline is October 15th*. Applicants with
experience in (computational) stellar physics and evolution are
particularly welcome to apply!

CCA hosts seven groups

interested in different areas of astrophysics. The *Stars and Compact
Objects *group works on problems related to computational stellar physics
and its applications to e.g. the study of massive stars, compact objects,
exoplanets, gravitational waves progenitors, asteroseismology, and galactic
dynamics and evolution.
Amongst many others, this group includes or collaborates tightly with Katie
Breivik, Lisa Bugnet, Keaton Burns, Matteo Cantiello, Jordy Davelaar, Adam
Jermyn, Yan-Fei Jiang, Yuri Levin, Brian Metzger, Joonas Nättilä, Rosalba
Perna, Sasha Philippov, Eliot Quataert, Mathieu Renzo, Bart Ripperda, Yajie
Yuan.
At CCA, the Stars and Compact Objects group also benefits from
tight collaborations and synergies with the other groups, in particular
Gravitational Waves, Galaxy Formation, Planet Formation and Astronomical
Data.
