I've looked at your inlists and the opacity table you provided.  You sent a
pure helium (Y=1.0) table so I can't tell much about your new abundance
pattern from that.

However, the format of your table appears to be different from what MESA is
expecting.  Please compare the header of your table to one of those in
mesa/data/kap_data/.  There are blank lines in the MESA file headers that
are not in your table.  There are also blank fields in the high-T, high-R
corner of your table that MESA might misinterpret.

It appears in your inlist that you are also using a different set of low-T
opacity tables that correspond to your new high-T tables.  You should also
check those to make sure they are in the correct format.

Unfortunately it IS possible for the opacity table file to be in the wrong
format and yet not cause an error when the file is read in by MESA.

The file mesa/kap/preprocessor/src/fixed_metal.f includes a subroutine
called Do_Table that shows how to correctly format the table (this is where
the MESA fixed-metal opacity tables are created).
