Dear all,
My name is Tiancheng Sun, a doctoral student at Beijing Normal University.
Recently I am trying to use my own generated opacity table to replace mesa's default opacity table. The high temperature opacity table was generated online on the OPAL website(https://opalopacity.llnl.gov/new.html). Based on the GS98 solar mixture (Grevesse & Sauval 1998), we construct new metal mixtures by adding enhancement factors to the solar log N values of C, O, and α-elements (i.e., Ne, Mg, Si, S, Ca, and Ti), in which C and O increase by 0.1 and 0.4 dex, respectively, and alpha elements increase by 0.3.
When I use my own high temperature opacity table to calculate a model of 1 solar mass (I used the example in test_suite for testing), the evolution trajectory goes wrong.
The following attachments are my inlist, an example of the high-temperature opacity table, and the evolution trajectory from the calculation.
I want to know how to use my opacity table correctly, thank you very much for your help.
