[Mesa-users] Big Sur and MESA

Hi, all.

I am teaching stellar structure and evolution this spring, and would like
to include more MESA in my course.  I have downloaded Ed Brown's notes and
I'm using them to construct exercises for the students—*if you know of
other resources I should be using, please let me know.*

More critically, I recently (and perhaps foolishly) upgraded my Mac to
11.0.1 (Big Sur) and have discovered (to no one's surprise, I'm sure) that
MESA does not run on it.

This will make it challenging for me to develop the class and, if MESA does
not run on Big Sur by Spring, to teach it.

My question is: should I downgrade back to OS 10.15 so that I can use MESA
for the class, or is it reasonable to expect that the tools I need to run
MESA will be available for 11.0.1 sometime in the next 2 months or so?
