[Mesa-users] Letter to Professors

Dear professors of MESA,

    My name is Kai-an You. I am a high school student from Taiwan, doing my
science project with Dr. Ken Chen in NTU. The project is about the light
curve of supernova. However, I have trouble doing stella of MESA. I read
“README” in stella for the trial, but I couldn’t figure out the “output”
information from it. Can you please tell me which profile, or inlist, can
control whether the profiles produce output or not? I have tried your “
*mesa.abn*” and “*mesa.hyd*” to test stella, but I couldn’t find the output
profile “mesa.tt” or other output profiles after stella finished running.
Can you tell me how to fix the problem?

   Another problem is that when I checked “*makefile*” of stella¸I checked
the “*util*” profile through the route on “*makefile*,” but I couldn’t find
any profile like “*makefile_header*.” Can you tell me where it is? Is there
any way to solve this problem?
