[Mesa-users] Crash after 8.1e6 yrs on 20 m simulation

Hello everyone,

I'm real sorry to bother you, but a problem has come up and I don't understand it at all.

I've been using MESA for about 5 months now, for my thesis work. I am using an HP Laptop, Ubuntu / Linux software 18.04.4 LTS 64-bit. I have this installed alongside Windows 10. I am using MESA release 12115. Using MESA SDK v 20190830.

I've been running a sim of a 20 solar mass star, and getting good results until recently. I am suddenly getting this error:

./rn: line 9:  4138 Killed                  ./star

I do not understand. I never got this error before, and haven't been able to find that particular code in any searches. I checked and all my environment variables are correct. I tried to do a ./clean and then reinstall. I tried trimming all of my options down and just running the code 'bare-bones', but still get this crash (after the sim has run for a while, around 8 million years time frame) and error.

I'm not a huge coding expert (although I'm trying to learn)... does this look familiar to anyone? Any idea why it is happening? I've tried everything I can think of, sorry...
