The Theoretical Nuclear Physics Group at the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in Theoretical Nuclear Astrophysics to begin either in the fall of 2020. The ideal candidate will have experience in either (i) neutrino interactions in dense matter, (ii) nuclear physics aspects of neutron stars, supernovae, and neutron star mergers, (iii) r-process nucleosynthesis or (iv) nuclear structure theory.
