[Mesa-users] Blue and red edges of the instability strip

Hi Felipe,

RSP will not produce the edges of the instability strip at one shot, but
for every RSP model you run, it returns linear growth rates. As an example,
please run test_suite/rsp_Cepheid/
in the LOGS directory you will find LINA_period_growth.data in which linear
periods (second column) and growth rates (third) are located. In the first
column you have the mode id (0 - fundamental, 1 - first ov, ...)

Positive growth rate means that the mode is linearly unstable (inside
linear IS). Linear instability edges are lines along which the growth rate
is zero.
If you run a sequence or a grid of models you can interpolate then. Note
that linear growth rates are calculated at the very beginning of rsp run
(for static model). There is no need to converge the model to full
amplitude pulsation if you are interested in growth rates only.
