[Mesa-users] STELLA Issue

Dear MESA team, 

MESA Version : 11701 
OS : ubuntu 20.04 

Earlier, we were struggling to produce a reasonable progenitor for a type Ib SN. Now we could resolve this problem and could evolve a 12M_sun ZAMS progenitor star up to the onset of core-collapse. We generated the mesa.abn and mesa.hyd files which were provided as input to STELLA. STELLA also runs successfully, but in the end, it displays some failing message. Here I attach the screenshot of the error : 

While producing the mesa.abn and mesa.hyd files, we have chosen the following keys in inlist_shock_part5 inlist file : 

save_stella_data_when_terminate = .true. 
save_stella_data_filename = 'mesa' 
stella_show_headers = .false. 
stella_min_surf_logRho = -100d0 
stella_min_velocity = 0d0 
stella_skip_inner_dm = 0.1d0 ! 0 this time. 
stella_num_points = 400 
stella_nz_extra = 0 
stella_skip_inner_v_limit = 0d0 ! 5d+07 
stella_mdot_years_for_wind = 1.2 
stella_mdot_for_wind = 0.30d0 ! 0.25 
stella_v_wind = 10 

Here, I would like to mention a few issues, 

1) When we plot the output that is displayed on the terminal while running STELLA, reasonably good shape ( mesa_term_out.dat ) of the lightcurve is achieved, but if the data of mesa.lbol_lnuc.txt is plotted, kinky lightcurve is obtained. And also, the lightcurve is produced only up to 90days (using mesa.lbol_lnuc.txt) while our requirement is up to 160days. 


2) The light curve data points produced by STELLA are sparse (6d, 9d, 13d, 21d, 35d, 64d, 93d, 122d and so on). Is it possible to get denser data points for the light curve ? 

Please suggest possible solutions to these issues.
