[Mesa-users] Artificially changing the profile of pressure

    Thank you very much for your reply.

As you pointed out, I have rechecked the code and found that it's caused by the setting of conv_dP_term_factor.

I want to decrease the total pressure. So, I fix conv_P as a positive (i.e., conv_P > 0) in the subroutine of
other_mlt in run_star_extra.f and incorrectly set conv_dP_term_factor = -1d0 in inlist.

However, convective pressure will be considered merely when conv_dP_term_factor > 0.
