We have MESA-web (http://mesa-web.asu.edu/) but that is limited to a small
set of inlist options, short runtime, and targeted primarily at educational
use.

I am not aware of any such capability that would allow one to run MESA
using user-provided inlists and making use of run_star_extras (as your past
messages indicate that you are doing).

Honestly speaking, I run MESA codes on my laptop, and sometimes it takes a

A computer system with correct thermal engineering should be able to run
continuously at load without damaging itself. Many people, including
myself, have left MESA models running on their laptops for a few days with
no ill effects.

You can certainly do good science with MESA on an older, slower laptop.
But some types of MESA models do require access to suitable
high-performance computational resources, usually provided through
universities or national computing centers, and the most fruitful route to
accessing these is probably through your scientific collaborators or
mentors.
