Dear MESA users,
I noticed that when Li7 and Be7 are not considered to be at equilibrium (i.e., using the pp_and_cno_extras nuclear reaction network), the abundance of Li7 is not homogeneous in the convective core of a ~ 1.3 Msun star using mesa-r10108. I assume that this is due to the fact that the timescale of lithium burning is shorter than the timescale of convective mixing. If it is indeed the case, I was wondering how MESA handles these very short timescales numerically. Thanks for your help,
Best wishes,
Sebastien.
