[Mesa-users] Injecting extra heat using a very old version via AMUSE

Hi everyone,
We want to inject energy to our model (low mass pre MS star), via the AMUSE
framework which unfortunately supports only version 2208).
We can therefore only change the luminosity profile of the star (s% xs) and
not the extra_heat term.
The question is whether changing the luminosity at the core will act the
same way as putting an extra heat (s% extra_heat) at the same zone?
