[Mesa-users] Question about the PPISN test_suite in r-15104

Thanks Bill,

I had used this test suite extensively in r-12778 and have my own work
directory is essentially modifications based heavily on the test_suite in
that version. I had tested it very extensively and optimized the controls
for my science purpose.

I was hoping to port this over the r-15140 so that I can use the
other_EOS() routine without having to use other_eosPT_get(). I'm starting
with the test_suite again to understand the changes between the two
versions, and one thing I am finding is that whether an initial model will
build is more sensitive to the controls (pre_ms_T_c), and that some models
fail to converge soon after the pulsations start (the time step goes to
zero).

I turned off rotation immediately to start with something closer to my
r-12778 code but it occurred to me this may be part of the new initial
model building process so wanted to check if this is indeed the case?

Cheers,

Jeremy

unless your goal is to fails spectacularly, please start simple(r).
