Hi Kai-an,
Why the explosion energy is like this?

Is there anything wrong in my steps ?

There's no problem here and it sounds like your steps are likely correct.
That energy shown in mesa.tt is the extra explosion energy that you added
when switching from MESA to STELLA. It is written out by STELLA, but will
always show up as zero since the explosion was carried out using MESA. The
explosion energy internal to STELLA can be found at the end of each step in
mesa.res (a huge data file), and should approximately match the total
energy reported at shock breakout found in the history.data file output by
MESA at the end of shock_part5.
In mesa.res the energies should look something like this:
RADIAT. ENERGY (1E+50 ERG) = 1.71618E-07 TOTAL ENERGY
(1E+50 ERG) = 9.91905E+00
KINETIC ENERGY (1E+50 ERG) = 5.83134E+00 GAINED ENERGY
(1E+50 ERG) = 0.00000E+00
GRAVIT. ENERGY (1E+50 ERG) = -1.26501E-02 VISCOUS VIRIAL
(1E+50 ERG) = 2.47516E-02
VIRIAL ENERGY (1E+50 ERG) = 4.13008E+00 VIRIAL BALANCE
(1E+50 ERG) = -7.30859E+00
THERMAL ENERGY (1E+50 ERG) = 4.10036E+00 TOTAL BALANCE
(1E+50 ERG) = 0.00000E+00
Cheers,
~Jared
