[Mesa-users] Question about magnitudes in RSP

Hi
There are different outputs available, log_lum in the log of the luminosity
in the filter band in erg/s so 36 (10**36 ~ 100Lsun) seems reasonable for a
star (though the documentation does say its in lsun units so i need to
update the documentation) .

See http://mesa.sourceforge.net/star_job_defaults.html#Color_Files for
controls over which bands can be loaded
and look in the default history_columns file for information on different
outputs possible.

You probably want the absolute magnitude of the star? in which case add
abs_mag V to your history file. Then you should have output in the
history.data of abs_mag_v
