Hi Manos,
Good to hear from you again. I just checked this in test case example_ccsn_IIp in the current version and after a couple of inlist tweaks it seems to work.
Replace inlist_shock_part6_header by this new version:
Then
cp inlist_shock_part6_header inlist
./rn1
The run should continue from where part5 ended. It will need subsecond timesteps as the shock approaches the surface, then post breakout the photosphere velocity should rise quickly to about 8000 kms and the timesteps will settle in at the max allowed 1000 seconds per step.
If you want to include part6 as a standard part in the runs, edit the rn script.
The test case runs to this ending at 15 days.

More specifically, I am trying to reproduce Figure 31 in the instrument paper, i.e. examine the effect of handing off to STELLA at different times, including times after shock break-out.

I have a successfully reproduced some of the explosions and their lightcurves, as shown in the instrument paper, but I have not determined what parameter should be changed to allow the shock to evolve past break-out in MESA, before handing off to STELLA. Any insights on that would be appreciated.
