[Mesa-users] Supernova post-shock break-out evolution with MESA

Dear MESA community,

I am trying to reproduce some of the results presented in the MESA IV 
Instrument paper that include Type II supernovae and handoffs to the 
STELLA code for calculation of light curves. More specifically, I am 
trying to reproduce Figure 31 in the instrument paper, i.e. examine the 
effect of handing off to STELLA at different times, including times 
after shock break-out.

For this reason I have downloaded all the publicly available inlists 
used for these test problems from mesastar.org 
(https://zenodo.org/record/2596697#.XZ4YaS-ZNuU). I have a successfully 
reproduced some of the explosions and their lightcurves, as shown in the 
instrument paper, but I have not determined what parameter should be 
changed to allow the shock to evolve past break-out in MESA, before 
handing off to STELLA. Any insights on that would be appreciated.
