Thanks for your reply!  Adding your suggested lines to inlist_common_rsp locally worked great!


I did try earlier before I wrote again to recompile the code after editing the pgstar.defaults, but that did not seem to work. I will try again and try to see what I did incorrectly.  But for now I am glad to have a working pgstar for my long runs.

I tried changing all of the 999999 values in pgstar.defaults to have one (or two) more 9's, but this still change still does not seem to work.

You will want to changes these values in your own inlists.  I forgot that the defaults are compiled in, so editing pgstar.defaults itself will have no effect (unless you recompile star).  Sorry about the misleading instruction.

Try adding the lines

logL_Teff_step_max = 9999999
logL_v_step_max = 9999999
logL_R_step_max = 9999999

to the end of inlist_rsp_common.  That worked for me in your example.  (And thanks for the clean and easy reproducible case!)
